Yeah, it seems as though Flash analyzed what went wrong vs. Life in GSL and decided "hmmm, just need more mines." You can diligently take out the first dozen, but eventually a big hit will come. And even if it doesn't, being backed up by a dozen mines that zerg may or may not have vision of (if there are a bunch you might not be sure if you triggered all of them) will prevent zerg from punishing a terran that over-extends. So then a top-level terran (which, to be fair, is probably only about half a dozen players in the world) can take advantage of that high skill-cap inherent to the ranged glass cannons that marines epitomize.
I suspect one of three things will eventually happen:
1) Startale Life or Roro will demonstrate that you can use the mines against the terran without it being a lucky accident that it killed some bio; or, in the alternative, will execute so well that terran can't effectively set up a push on the Zerg's 3rd or 4th before infestors/Hive comes out.
2) Zerg's will find some way to change the meta -- probably with swarm hosts, which should handle the mines better, at least.
3) Neither of the above will occur, top Korean terrans will dominate the matchup with regularity, and Blizzard will nerf the mines.
