it's just that mkp is playing really bad. sad but true. his passive playstyle refusing to drop (multi) or to split armys against harrass is just not gsl lvl anymore. i mean, why does he leave his base, he should know that in exact that moment a counter attack is coming in. | ||

Curious played a style that reacts good to drops actually so I don't think it would have meant much. | ||

From my experience: The counter stood the same as in WoL - Marines + Thor (if the muta count is incrementing too fast). Mines in combination with turrets also work against huge flocks. The problem is though, that mutas now scale faster - Since they regenerate in HotS, it is more likely to get a huge muta count AND do damage with them at the same time. (WoL muta vs T was: Attack -> barely survive -> regroup -> wait -> attack, but in HotS the "wait" part is inexistent  ) | ||
