Alive is doing really well in Pro-League . Nice pickup for me i guess in Fantasy. Guess getting another good Terran on EG-TL next to the sadly still ailing Taeja was a good move.

Woke up and saw the results, so stoked for EGTL and HerO especially! GGs!

The other day HerO posted on twitter to keep believing in him. Guess it worked?

I loved when CJherO was all smiles and confidence waiting for EGTL to announce their ace and when it was HerO he immediately looked bummed.

Too bad they didn't win 4-1, as they almost did, though. Two more losses and they can't make the qualifiers, right?

How do you figure that?

If EGTL lose two more sets, Park would retire from progaming in shame and enter a state of hermitude. With him gone EGTL will lose every remaining set, naturally.

Hahahahaha!

But seriously, I read somewhere on TL that EGTL had to have a max of 7 losses if they were to make the qualifiers. Can anyone confirm?

It's 7 matches, not 7 maps. They said they needed to go 14-7 in the second half of the season in matches to make the playoffs. They are 2-0 right now. it was something like that. maybe it was 14 of their next 21 games. however many games are left. too tired to look it up exactly

Q: What is EG-TL’s goal for the second half of the season?
A: Well, we have to recover. We have a big goal. Looking at the numbers though, it may be impossible (laughs).
EG-TL’s goal is to enter the playoffs. Though through calculations, it is a very impossible number. To enter the playoffs, EG-TL must win 14 of their next 21 games. We have to play like the 1st place Woongjin Stars to have a place in the playoffs.
To be honest, it is a very hard goal. But after talking with the players, and with Alex as well, the consensus I hear is, “We can still do it.” Though it will be a difficult path, I believe it will be the time of my life. But I do hope that luck and miracles help us (laughs).

That´s wrong. If they would have a 14-7 record in the second half, they would be at 21-21 combined, which would be about average. But because of WJS ratio (and probably soon SKTT1 as well, now that they have PartinG), it is assumable, that they gain most of the wins, while the rest of the teams steals eachother points, so that more than 3-4 teams could end up with a negative win-ration. I assume, you could make the playoff with an 20-22, 19-23 or maybe even 18-24 record (edending on other matches). But that´s so far away, noone can predict it yet.
