Mutas are so stupid now. Oh you stormed a whole bunch of mutas? Got a whole bunch of damage on them with your stalkers? Doesn't matter!!

Between the muta regeneration and all the dead space on these maps it's like Blizzard are saying "what, you won't go mass phoenix to deal with mutas? Well fuck you, we're going to make it so you'll just die if you don't go mass phoenix!"

Honestly, what is impressive with this mutalisk micro? With his poor control of the rest of his units, he's focusing all his APM on using the new regeneration.

yeah if he starts pheonix production NOW... he shouldve started pheonix production when he first spotted mutas. So unless you have 1 viper for every pheonix, your mutas will die.

Flying starts in the top left

Flying goes for Nexus, Forge and Gateway, then Cannon
DRG goes for Pool, Hatch, third Hatch once more

Flying goes for Stalker and Warpgate, DRG gets more Drones and Queens and 2 Extractors at the natural

Flying takes 4 Gases and builds his Stargate, this time with Phoenixes
He also adds 3 Gateways
DRG builds his Lair and Ling-Speed and 4 additional Extractors

Flying starts destroying his rocks towards his potential third base location while harassing with a few Phoenixes, getting some Drone and Overlord kills
Hydra-Tech for the Zerg, also some Lings out on the map

Flying takes his third, DRG immediately scouts it
DRG builds his Infestation Pit and fast 10-minute Hive

12:00min
Flying scouts the Infestation Pit but doesn't see the Hive
Colossus production starts for Flying, he also builds additional Gateways

DRG is able to scout everything with an Overseer, at the same time the Phoenix scout the Hive and kill some Drones in the main

Vipers in production for DRG, Blink research and Templar Archives for Flying
DRG builds a Spire and additional Roaches but just now starts upgrading range attacks

16:00min
Flying builds some Templar for Feedback
DRG starts to push into Flying's natural with Ling-Roach-Hydra-Viper but Flying is well setup

DRG backs off after killing a few buildings of Flying's wall, he now tries to go for a Muta-Transition

18:00min
DRG starts mass Spine Crawlers and attacks Flying with Mutas while researching the Locust-upgrade

Flying wants to attack DRG but has to get through a massive wall of Spine Crawlers
Flying is able to feedback all the Vipers and push into DRG's 4th but he gets cornered by Roaches, Hydras and Spine Crawlers
DRG loses all his Mutas and a lot of Drones but is able to stay in the game

Flying backs off with only gateway units left and takes his 4th base

22:00min
DRG rebuilds Mutalisks and harasses the third with a few of them while posturing at the 4th with roaches and hydras
Flying rebuilds his army of Stalkers, Templar and Colossai
Both players are at 170 supply

DRG keeps harassing the third with Mutas but Flying splits hiis army well and is able to defend with 2 Phoenix and a few Stalkers
More Mutas on the way for DRG, building quite a huge flock of them

Both players are maxed out now, DRG is way behind in upgrades and doesn't continue to research
DRG starts Swarm Hosts and lots of Spines while keeping Flying defensive with his Mutas

good Phoenix micro by Flying lets him defend
Flying starts the transition into more Stargates and Fleet Beacon

26:00min
Mutas poke into the third once more but get heavily damaged by storms
DRG still jumps between the main and third of Flying, keeping him contained for a while now

28:00min
DRG takes a fifth base and adds Vipers and Swarm Hosts, keeping his Mutas active
Flying starts to warp-in defensive DTs as DRG tries to bust the third with Roaches and Hydras
The Roaches and Hydras get killed without doing much but that allows DRG to build more and more Swarm Hosts and Spines

Flying adds Voidrays and kills the 5th of DRG with DTs
DRG has almost no minerals left while Flying takes his won fifth and starts building a bank

32:00min
DRG starts sieging the 5th with Swarm Hosts and uses Mutas and a Blinding Cloud to attack the third
Flying decides that it's time to attack DRG and is able to kill a few Swarm Hosts but DRG pulls the rest back into his Spine Crawlers

DRG is using Mutas, Vipers, Swarm Hosts and Spines exclusively now
Flying is on gateway units, Colossai, Templar and Voidrays

34:00min
DRG takes out Flying's 5th with his Mutas, at the same time Flying kills DRG's 5th with his army

Flying splits his army and tries to attack with Colossai and Templar with Gateway-support while defending against Mutas with a bunch of Phoenix and Stalkers

36:00min
DRG has mainly mutas now, only a few Swarm Hosts and Vipers left
Both players are basically outmined but Flying is trying to take another base as his 5th

38:00min
DRG´is able to kill most of Flying's Templar as they are out of position, getting his Mutas heavily damaged
He waits for the Mutas to heal up and push in agaiin

40:00min
DRG still without a 5th base, only mining from a few mineral patches at his 4th
DRG keeps killing small armies with his Mutas and now tries to push out with Spines and Swarm Hosts

Flying sees the Hosts and catches them with Force Fields and Storms and kill most of them, only 8 Hosts left
DRG takes out most of Flying's main and denies the 5th once more

42:00min
Flying takes the 5th at the other side of the map again, DRG sieges it from far away with Swarm Hosts
No more mining for DRG but Flying has almost no unit producing structures left

DRG finally re-takes his 5th but he has the weaker army
Flying tries to corner DRG with his army split up but it doesn't work out

44:00min
DRG loses his 5th but kills Flying's 5th, the game keeps going back and forth

It's pretty much a stalemate, Flying has the better army but not enough to push into SwarmHost-Spine and DRG keeps killing stuff with his Mutas.
However Flying keeps rebuilding his 5th and sloooooooooooooowly improving his army while DRG is only long-distance mining
