I actually felt that MLG had better games than both, without meaning to throw a curveball into the mix

Yup. I thought that game that Flash lost to Bly (I think) just by not building missile turrets in his bases or even just sending a small army back and scanning the burrowed infestors was particularly hilarious.

Aside from Bogus vs Flash (TvT yo) I disagree. Especially since Kespa had more foreigners to snack on.

Most of the best games came out of Life. Polt assisted as well (close series with Life). MC was also owning it up.

Flash has a habit of losing to ridiculous strategies and all ins

He lost his last BW game ever to Soulkey, losing to a speedling all in.

hrm, wonder how much longer Zergs will continue to blindly a move into widow mines before realizing they have to micro. Roro's only loss to Bomber came from the same thing. Good micro has been an absolute requirement for Terran for the past 2 years, but at first people didn't even know how to split marines vs banes. Maybe Zerg is the same way atm.

It'll take time. It was months before Terrans understood that constantly spreading and pre-splitting their bio was mandatory even just for moving across the map because of the insta-loss potential even a single fungal had in TvZ. Zergs have been cruising around the map on one hotkey for a few years now, the habit will take time to break.

this is laughable.

This is true beside it is the case for players of all races. It's an aspect that me (and many others) critizised since the launch of WoL.

Right now whenever I see an Sc2 player not called Innovation or Life playing the game I feel underwhelmed.

I really hope that is the final this season.

I'm especially curious to see Life's ZvP, at MLG he just roach rushed and stuff, nothing indicating late game strategy. Plus, the game's a lot more advanced than it was then. DRG looked a bit lost.

hmmm for some reason the GOMTV app results had DRG at 2-1 and not advancing, so i was like wtf?
guess it was wrong.
I used to play random, but for you I play very specifically.

My list of 5 best players right now:

Good list. I'd take the same except Flash in place of Yoda. The way that Yoda let over 2k gas float in at least 3 of his games today seems less than optimal -- especially in game 1 vs. DRG where he was very close to losing and probably could have made good use of a Raven.

Yoda went 4-0 today though and previously he has impressed as well. I would not put Flash in top 5 at the moment but of course respect your opinion. There are others too which could take the 5th spot.

Edit: Me stupid, corrected mistake.

You are clueless! Flash already beat Innovation and Rain in a BO3 format.

Man, there are like 30 pros who can all beat each other in a best of 3. This is a list of top 5. For me top 3 Innovation, Life and Rain are dead sure. Roro and Yoda are debatable. Clueless, LOL. At a matter of fact I don't think Flash played that stable recently.

Let me repeat it to you: Flash beat Innovation and Rain recently. So much for your best top 3. Also Roro beats life in ZvZ anytime. Soulkey beats Life, Jaedong beats Life.

He will try to kill Toss early like he did at MLG. Expect Roach/Ling allins, Hydra busts etc into Muta switches and things like that.

This is the most likely outcome, I agree. I think most Protoss players will fall to it as well, and once they start playing defensive to prepare for the all-in they think is coming, Life will switch it up with 3hatch-pool. At least, I hope so.

All according to my predictions. I didn't even need to watch today's group to know what would happen.

MC's tactics with HOTS were quickly exposed, and DRG's been on tilt as of late.

Looking forward to group C though, and I hope sOs and Curious make it out quick.

Word on the street from the players in Korea is that he's really good, that's the reason I expected him to advance.
