The newest song from this set is Secret's song (I think) and it's a few months old. Sometimes new songs are on GSL a few days after but most of the time it's maybe a week or two I think.. I'm not positive on that though.
bizzare game lol. Guessing Labyrinth's late game doesn't exist although if he targeted the banes or split better, he may have actually done a lot more damage there and maybe even taken the game, who knows?

Crazy won. Labyrinth tried a 2 rax(dunno timings since I wasn't looking lol) and then he kinda went SCV+marine all in after his 2 rax failed and tried to transition but he was really down in workers and lost to a bane bust
On March 05 2013 18:44 Beirut wrote: wait what happened? went to the print a lecture, came back and game was over...
Labyrinth built a CC but still pulled almost all SCVs in a marine+scv attack from proxied barracks, presumably wanting to rely on double mules for income. Crazy got a baneling nest up in time. Baneling went boom on the marines and Labyrinth died to the counter bling-bust.

"Look at me, I can 1/1/1!!!" yes, he's actually fucking terrible did you see his complete lack of target firing against the banelings? absolutely no splitting, sits around killing an overlord and damaging a hatch when he KNOWS there are banelings morphing at the top of the ramp... the list goes on and on, there are like, at least a dozen other players who should be in code a/up&downs instead of him.

Of course he did it to fake greedy play. The CC was placed in a scoutable position from the ramp on purpose. Its actually not a bad fake at all. Had Crazy been 10sec slower on the baneling nest he couldve died.

Getting through with cheese. Sure, he may be really devious with his cheeses, but players like this eventually get figured out and disappear like a one-off blip on the radar. I know that it's too much to say he has "no real skill", but it's just a gag-reflex from watching his terribad execution - bad kiting, bad splitting.

Might have been a nifty fake, still weakens his push. Crazy basically got his baneling nest as soon as he could. I don't think he thought he shouldn't because there was a cc. regardless I think he coulda taken that push with just zergling reinforcements

There are no players who "should" be in the Up&Downs. If they aren't, they didn't make the cut or got directly into Code S. Failing to defend an all-in (twice) from someone who's "fucking terrible" is not how you "deserve" to be in the Up&Downs.

Well, as with most cheeses, they dont work when sniffed out. But its one of those builds that could be good to throw into the mix once in a while. Standard 11/11+scv pull or doing same-ish with a fake CC is debatable whats best, but its not like this build would never work.

Whatever, maybe 'deserve' was the wrong word. You're being obtuse though, and know exactly what I mean. They are part of season 2. I think the logic behind it that is being accepted is that everyone else who already qualified for Code S did so by playing WoL. Gom never explicitly said this so there's no way to prove that it's the reasoning. It could be that they just wanted to play in the games this week before they moved studios and were stuck playing WoL since the Beta is down. No one but them knows for sure

I think that 4.14% is from the scenario where Avenge and BB both beat Noblesse, so there can be a three-way-tie between Crazy, Noblesse and Avenge for second place, behind BB.

correct. if noblesse wins, the day ends with noblesse and crazy advancing to code s. if bboongbboong wins, then crazy has to win to send it to 3 way tiebreakers so more games
B4 proved last season he can play in code s and has moved on from his "almost-but-not-quite" position. He most definitely deserves code s over crazy who dosn't appear to be so hot outside of ZvZ... Also, is it possible we get a 3-way tie for first?

3 way tie for first if Crazy wins
Now that would be an exciting finish to the group.....I guess 3-way playoff then....I can't remember the last time this happened, it might have been blizzard cup 2011 iirc...
Can't wait for HotS. Zerg is just too powerful. I swear, like every ZvT I see nowadays I feel that the Terran is playing really well, and then they are just down by 40 supply at one point and lose in the lategame. Its just too unforgiving.
The creep spread is quite redonkulous. Even disregarding the current balance, I really dont think you should be able to passively scout the whole map like that.

If you look, each player's likelihood of 1/2/3 is in reverse order. So it certainly smells like a bug somewhere in the tiebreaker code rather than players ratings updating as you put in scores (and presumably theBB should know if it does this or not?)

To counter what you said, Bboong got stomped in his Ro16 group and he got eliminated by Sleep at IPL5.

Bboong made it to BL/infestor. GL Noblesse. So sad that he can play this well and not even be ahead. "Great fungals!" by Bboong. Yeah...real impressive. I don't understand how you could commentate this game and not be frustrated for Terran.

Basically, Noblesse outplayed B4 in every way possible.
Does anyone think that after Noblesse killed like the 10 drones at the natural, if he had just pulled back, he'd be in a pretty good position?
When the observer showed the harvester numbers, it was like 10-7 in favor of Noblesse (and that was after losing 2-3 extra unnecessarily). He pulls back his scvs when he's at 12 vs 7/8 and camps his marines there to force zerg to build more zerglings instead of drones. Worst case, he gets back to base and he's like 12 scvs vs 10 or 11 drones.

A combination of multi-pronged aggression, constant shutting down of bases, snipes, emps, nukes, and a 360 degree marine surround.
Basically, Noblesse outplayed B4 in every way possible.
This has the potential to be even better than the 3-way tie between Squirtle, SjoW, and Socke from IEM a while back - the one that went into 4 tiebreakers.

Feel bad for Noblesse, but Crazy thoroughly outplayed him in the last game. The proxy scout, the decision making, the defense, the creep spread, the drop defense made it too much of a hole. Marines dont beat infestors, blings, and broodlords; that would be imbalance lol

I know times are rough, but 37% is a terran favoured map? I agree he shouldn't have cheesed, but he's very young and probably very tired and not thinking right.

Well, zergs always claimed that Antiga was extremely terran favoured.
This has to be the most upsetting result in the history of the Up & Downs... 4-0 into 5-4... Also I bet a lot of people want to change their vote after these games... Noblesse (0), really?

I am not complaining, I just read results, how was their a tie break to begin with? Noblesse and boongboong were 4-0 and crazy lost to noblesse.... doesn't that make boongboong and noblesse mobe on?
Edit: after further inspection, I understand now. They all beat eachother once, hence 3 way tie.

didn't happen last season; bboong also tore up ipl5
His luck is about to run out.
kespa player luck is about to run out
see, statements like that mean nothing
On the contrary. KeSPA players are on an all-time high atm.
so is bboongbboong
He didn't do anything spectacular at IPL5, nor did his preformance at the GSL was up to the level.
I really don't know why you got so much air-built hype.
beat squirtle and hyun, both gsl finalists in GSL; beat seed and came =9th at IPL5 is pretty impressive. he's done more than a several zergs in code s atm
You're taking things out of context. Seed was beaten by pretty much everyone after his GSL championship. Squirtle and HyuN played plain bad.
To counter what you said, Bboong got stomped in his Ro16 group and he got eliminated by Sleep at IPL5.
lost 1-2 to parting and roro, hardly something to be ashamed of lol gratz to bboong!

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't antiga 40% terran v z overall?

Yeah but it was one of the better maps for terran so zergs claimed it was terran favored because they had a "decent" chance of beating a zerg on it.

iirc it was like 48ish
Antiga is a rather weird map in that it was the map every terran picked for TvZ for a few months until the meta just flipped on it rather quickly and it suddenly was a map terrans hated.
