Pretty insane, considering Soulkey's family name is also MinChul. (or as I like to call him "the real MC")
Let's hope he also gets to the grandfinals like his MC-counterpart did back then.

I am pretty depressed. I knew in my head MKP would not get out of a 2 zerg group but my heart refused to accept it ='( .So basically all the "oldschool" players are out except MC and Losira... I honestly hope they do well even though I'd like Bogus to win it all considering his mind blowing play. Just very sad to see the greatest players that spanned the whole damn game go out to really crappy circumstances or unfortunate group pairing. I just hope HotS turns out better and they rise back up again. GSL without Nestea MVP MKP MC would make me strongly consider whether I even care anymore, was bad enough that Nada left

That's their given (first) name, not family name.

I just don't like the state of the PvZ matchup. If Zerg gets to Broodlord/infestor, they win in like 95% of the cases. How they get there does not matter. If they are, like in game 3 of soulkey vs squirtle, down to 1 mining base with 0 bank, and they have this army, they still win. If a Protoss has to cancel a base, it's over, all of his timings are screwed and his only chance to win, by using a 3base all in, is eliminated.
On the other hand, Protoss has some really, really strong all-ins off of 2 and 3 bases, which are used in 99% of the games, because a) they are really hard to hold without bl/infestor and b) the only viable option to win.
I'm not trying to say that Squirtle totally deserved to get out of this group, he got really cocky after he went 3-0 and screwed up hard vs Soulkey, i mean he scoutet 10 lings and no 3rd in game 2 and still did not add cannons wtf. In the 2nd series against Symbol he played bad, and deserved to lose, but this does not change the fact that the MU is broken, imo.
Well, all that's left is to root for the soultrain, the bosstoss and hots to fix all of this.

Squirtle sacrificed like half of his army to kill bases... I don't know what you want, that he can do that AND still win the main battle? He made a lot of moves that pay off in the longrun - however BLs were at his door.
Seriously, this is like a zerg that is rightclicking banelings on walls while marines are in his base. Squirtle gambled that he would be able to get out mass VR - and couldn't. That's it.

I really cannot believe how people complain about "Zerg being able to win with so few bases", when the way to get the zerg there are immense sucide missions. If the game was that simple, all I would do is would 6pool all day long and pump lings forever and then complain about how the other guy could win, even though I had him contained for X mins...

Lol I won't bet on Life disposal. He is really ahead right now.
I hope one protoss will go throught. Both are able to.

The only different one is the second series, where today's Min Chul defeated MKP 2-1 instead of 2-0. The other results are completely identical.

At least the StarCraft gods were favorable today, I missed the Liquibets completely yesterday, but got it all right today. I think the Ro8 TvZs should be great, INoVation vs Symbol has the potential to be incredible, and Soulkey vs TaeJa should be great.

It was around the time that CJ herO got interviewed for some proleague win. He talked about in his interview how he didn't like that vortex was removed from the mothership and we all saw the game where he probably learned about it.
