Ultimately, Code A is just a transition place between Code B and Code S. If the Code B players want to get into Code S, they'll have to prove that to Gom by being able to beat Code S level players. It's a nice system to keep the best players at the top, but it can be rather harsh.

Really? So you remain a code S player when you're in code B? Do explain how that works..

It would make sense if they make R2 of Code A and then slack off on WoL, seeing as they've confirmed a spot for next season and have an Up-and-Down spot already secured. Them practicing HotS, getting dropped down to Code B and having to qualify through the Code A qualifiers with a new game is ridiculous.

Cheese is something that belongs in Sc2 and makes it alot more fun to watch atleast for myself! I don't say I don't like cheese at all. I don't like watching only cheese, and it's what's happening recently (thus no real variation)

It keeps people that are worthy of Code S in code S, and the ones that have been slacking off get punished instantly. That's why they are seen as the most competitive sc2 tournament in the world, you can't slack off for a single season or else you're history.
