well who else are you going to put them against lol

how about that you place code s players and code b players against code a players so the difference in skill isnt that high so everyone has a chance i think its a bit unfair they came though the preliminaries and then they get a code s player.

Well the fact is that the dropping player isn't actually a Code S player after dropping out..

Well that's just not true.

but that means code b players play against each other, and one code b player gets a guaranteed R2 slot. while the code S players - one will fall to code B. hardly fair for the code S player

no that doesnt mean code b player play against each other there also code a players like jaedong and flash from last season o.o

Ultimately, Code A is just a transition place between Code B and Code S. If the Code B players want to get into Code S, they'll have to prove that to Gom by being able to beat Code S level players. It's a nice system to keep the best players at the top, but it can be rather harsh.

Really? So you remain a code S player when you're in code B? Do explain how that works..

Also people saying these guys are more worried about HotS are just silly.

It would make sense if they make R2 of Code A and then slack off on WoL, seeing as they've confirmed a spot for next season and have an Up-and-Down spot already secured. Them practicing HotS, getting dropped down to Code B and having to qualify through the Code A qualifiers with a new game is ridiculous.

He plays winner of center vs seed.

GOM pretty much is making Center go through the same path he did last season.

Shame PartinG is in Group D and not Group C... It would be the exact same if PartinG was in Group C and came 3rd in his group... assuming Center beats Seed and ByuN again.

So if they aren't 100% camping your main macro games they are horrible?
You sir are different
Variation is the best thing in the world!

totally agree, what is the fun part of watching the same 15 mins over and over. Cheese is something that belongs in Sc2 and makes it alot more fun to watch atleast for myself!

I don't say I don't like cheese at all. I don't like watching only cheese, and it's what's happening recently (thus no real variation)

After a macro game = god, I hate this turtle fest
After a cheesy game = past few pages

But nothing is wrong. This is LR after all.

The bi-product of what you think is a good idea, is you are promoting worse quality games in the next seasons Code S... when a "weaker" Code B player gets by not having to face any Code S players... then gets 0:4'd in Ro32.

Exactly. It keeps people that are worthy of Code S in code S, and the ones that have been slacking off get punished instantly. That's why they are seen as the most competitive sc2 tournament in the world, you can't slack off for a single season or else you're history.
