GO GO Woongjin. If they lose, EGTL will be bottom and KT will be top...

Bogus - Aria Classic - sOs hyvaa - ZerO Last - Light Trap - free
Don't see it going any other way, but I really want STX to win.

This is going to be a close one. STX doesn't get enough credit.

SKT vs CJ.

If only more Terran players used a capitol O or 0 as part of their name. I was stuck with BrAvO for my terran pick preventing me from picking sOs(sHy).
Also Light vs Last, the battle of the 3 point cost terrans from last round.

Bogus T7 vs Aria P11
Standard play to start. This favors Bogus.
|
I think I just got Being Bisu 101 from BisuDagger
|
Is this the Aria that played against HuK? Man, that was so long ago =\
|
Nice pylon by Aria to harras Bogus and delay his timing push until collosi.
|
Bogus attacking up a ramp into collosus, smh EDIT: he just did it again while trying to drop T.T
|
That feel when i just realized Aria is on my FPl as a one pointer meant to farm points from WJS.....and is beating a Code S terran!

code A is better than this

That was no Mkp vs Parting, but I enjoyed that, despite the very elitist folks around here

Bogus had chances to kill aria/ expand himself. Didn't do it.
Bogus always traded more efficiently than aria (~20 supply per fight) but poor decision

That toss made Code S player look EZ.

Those too. I was mostly focused on the 2 major battles early in the game where innovation won but aria was able to prevent innovation from advancing. Aria did a great job defending from the attacks. Just need to work on the big engagements.
Moving on. Need sOs to lose so that his value can drop enough that I can trade EG.TL.herO for him. But it does not like it will happen.

proleague and individual league success are not directly correlated. PL monsters who have >60% winrate in PL have had troubles making it past prelims or qualifier rounds: sea, light, bisu, leta, soulkey, stats, violet, best, etc...

I know that, but considering this is a 1v1 game you would think that the reasons for not doing well in one of them (when in both cases it's preparation-games and not a weekend tourney) is something other than strictly game related. Like I wondered, maybe the pressure of having to try to carry a struggling team is getting to him, while in GSL he only plays for himself and can relax.
It's an interesting subject in my opinion.

Well Proleague and GSL are completely different. One is BOX, the other is BO1. GSL is more about fundamentals whereas proleague is more about preparation. Also a lot of tactics that work in GSL, won't work in Proleague considering the players have different skill sets. In GSL you can kill someone with just multitasking as evident of bogus against stephano or fantasy against Nestea. However in the Proleague, people generally multitask better, so such is not as possible. From what I have seen recently, the Kespa players are better mechanically, whereas the esfi players are better at making decisions. So it really comes down to what you are good against- whether it be decision making or mechanics.

It could be a match up issue as well. Bogus' TvP has been his weakness so far in PL. And he has only played Squirtle (while Squirtle was 'slumping') during his 2 GSL runs.

By ignoring infestors you can hit a timing where your opponent has only a few infestors with low energy and because of that they will have less units. I don't know if that is what Hyvaa was going for tho because he never attacked.

ahem. I absolutely believe that the guy who posted was the actual light. As in mbc light. As in wjs light. As in the light that is currently in Korea. absolutely as though there is not even a 0.0001% chance that i am being serious.

There were points in time where Bogus could have won by attacking but he took too long to do anything and Protoss just build 200/200 and made a huge bank and attacked.
He played too passive in that game IMO.
Also early game, he gave away a bit too many units (seemed indecisive early game) which didn't help either.

It's not that good for my FPL team but I'm glad WJS is getting back on their feet again.

STX has really got to get it together

WJS to me still the probable winner of SPL. When they look good, they look too good. Lots of strong players. No shortage of ace choices. Lots of up and comers too.
Weaknesses? They don't have TBLS?

Have there been any TvTs on Arkanoid?

Yeah but most of them end up being short games (there have been a few long TvT but nowadays it seems everyone is losing within 15 minutes on that map).
