I don't think it's as much about the concept of cheese itself but more so on the fact that a fan favorite foreigner is playing. No one would give a damn if it was just another Zerg that got cheesed.

The level of hate towards Koreans when they cheese Stephano is nowhere near the fury invoked by Naniwa fans when he got cheesed out of the GSL several times lol.
