You see hellions at that stage of the game you assume they are blue flame, guess i should watch more closely.

Usually the mech tech can get more vikings out since they don't need to make medivacs. But since Noblesse had to rebuild his scvs, that gave Taeja the time he needed. And once he got that, he just made the contain pretty unbreakable. Noblesse throwing away all his marines and his first few hellions for pretty much no damage put him in a terrible spot. If he had those units taejas drop wouldve been repelled easily.

Very happy for Taeja. That TvT series was awesome

Yup. Also, I don't think Taeja would have dropped if he saw that much army there.

So did Taeja win? Can't watch right now
|
Okay, so I really really can't do the LR op for tomorrow. (It worked out today since I got home by 11am CET and I could do everything before that with my smartphone)
Tomorrow I got to write an exam so that won't work out.
So please someone do the op and open it up as soon as possible so we can start getting hyped ^.^
You can find the pre-made op by Shellshock here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=339146¤tpage=15#297
Edit: Nevermind, seems Shellshock has time tomorrow

NICE! Good to see his wrists are not completely ruining his game

Someone please tell me what Taeja did, I have been wanting to learn bio vs mech. What did he do? It sounds like he did some excellent play.
What was his composition? I also heard something about mini-sky terran?

The nestea vs noblesse series was so saddening. I'm still proud he got as far as he did. Taeja qualifying is awesome but it's going to really test his health now.

What was his composition? I also heard something about mini-sky terran? Basically he made a raven pretty early to establish air dominace which he later abused with banshees by picking of tanks. His army movement with the MMM-ball was really good and he transitioned very smoothly into tanks and contained Noblesse with them. With that he had map dominace the entire game. I am terrible at this game and my memory is trash but I hope this helps a little bit.

For any Terran player, what TaeJa did looked quite masterful.
He was able to build up some small advantages after being slightly economically behind. The two major advantages was killing an early medivac drop where Noblesse wasted a lot of supply, and then returning the favor with a small drop that ended up killing something like 17 SCVs and he even caught two siege tanks.
After that, TaeJa added banshees, ravens, and vikings to his bio composition so he had the clear air superiority. This (with basically one PDD, a couple cloaked banshees, and vikings to support) allowed him to break the siege tank line. Once he had the air superiority, he filled up a few medivacs of throwaway bio units right on top of Noblesse's tank line, crushing the tank count. Behind all this, TaeJa double-expanded.
Then TaeJa built more factories and quickly had a huge siege tank advantage, did a hard contain and when Noblesse tried to break out (picking a really difficult angle, too), it was gg time.

btw, thank you GOMtv for putting VODs up so quick. Rewatching that game 3 right now.

I'm in platinum and I take better care of my broodlords. Damnit Nestea!

Not true, Noblesse had blue flame. Maybe he got it late, but you can see the helion run-by near the end of the game and he roasts up the SCVs.

Only caught part of the games tonight, but I'm glad to see the two players that advanced are the ones I was cheering for. Soulkey looked like such a fucking beast tonight.
