inStarcraft.de is happy to announce, that the oncoming 7th season of the StarCraft II Clan League (SC2CL) will be sponsored by Clans.de. For those who don't know, Clans.de is a German Clan Hosting Service offering tools to create your own clanpage in less than a minute.
The total prize money is 1000 euro and will be splitted among the best teams in the Clans.de SC2CL Master Division in the following way:
1st place: 500 €
2nd place: 300 €
3rd place: 100 €
+ 100 € for a team that is able to play a perfect season in the Master Division
A perfect season means that a squad is able to win all its clanwars against the other teams. (This does not necessarily mean that it ends up first place because you can win a clanwar 3-2 while other teams might win 5-0 several times but lose 2-3 in another fight.) If no team is able to do that, the 100 € will be split among the 4th, 5th and 6th place (in the form of 50, 30 and 20 €) rewarding their efforts to avoid a perfect season for one squad.
If you have not played in the Clans.de SC2CL yet, you can still sign up by joining the waitinglist. Signups are possible until January 19th (23:59 CET)
The divisions will be created after the signup has been closed. We hope to start season VII on sunday, January 27th.
About Clans.de SC2CL
The StarCraft II Clan League (SC2CL) is an open clan league system made and run by inStarcraft.de (Home of the German StarCraft community). It offers a system of sorted divisions with currently 10 clans per division. After each season the best clans in a division will advance to a higher division (until they have reached the highest division, called the Master Division). The clans with the lowest placement however will drop down to a lower division. With this system the Clans.de SC2CL is a perfect league for both professional and fun clans.
In a season each squad plays a clanwar against all other teams of the same division, i.e. one clanwar per week. Each clan war consists of four 1vs1 and one 2vs2 match. One player can only participate in one of the 1vs1 matches, but he can also play as part of the 2vs2 team. The lineup for the clan wars have to be set in our clanleague script before the start of the matches.
The league is open to everyone. If you have a clan with at least four members, you can sign up for the Clans.de SC2CL by creating a clan squad and join the waitinglist. New teams will be placed in the lowest divisions with free slots (usually tier 4). (Note that prize money can only be reached next season if youre team is in the Master Division.)
