Being mannered has nothing to do with it. There is no ingame chat allowed for spl so the only time you will see chat from either of the players is when they concede or they request a pause. It's so simple..

Sometimes I wonder why people go for DTs in the early mid-game. It just seems like DT:s are a great late mid and late game unit but if you fail with the DTs early game everything is lost more or less, and it's very easy to fail with them.

This isn't professionalism. Professionalism would be allowing them to open with the mannered greeting.

It doesn't matter, you follow the damn rules set before you. Worry about trying to get them changed after your match. Don't potentially mess things up for your team.

However, I doubt it was intentional. He's probably still jetlagged and not really settled in yet and just plain forgot. Every other tournament he has ever played in has allowed/encourged glhf or whatever and it was almost certainly just a reflex.

a while back he was in a game against an inexperienced nervous player and he said something like "my main isn't big enough" and he made his opponent think he was doing some sort of timing or something like that

basically it was banned because boxer used it to create mind games which is not what the game is about
