He bullies his wins with pure micro. NO other TOSS could even try that.
To imagine MC with better decisions , is just plain scary and obviously no-one would come close to beating him. He is easily the most talented ESF player Ive ever seen.
Congrats on earning your place back in Code S SK_MC !!! Salute !!! xD
Wow, that's even funnier than the kespa fan whining, didn't think that would be possible.

He was there Liveforever gave up his seed which polt won through a wildcard tournament which now someone else will win through a wildcard tournament. The cycle of life carries on.

I like how people ALWAYS underestimate MC. While I definitely agree he's not on his best form (Actually really far from it), MC just knows how to win, and this is a factor many people fail to consider, he's always playing on the line, and most of the time he succeeds.
This is not about the format, MC just did well, as he usually does in this type of setting.
Flash played excellent on the AK vs EGTL, but it also comes to show how PL is a level below GSL Code S, I'd say U&D is a correct level for most KeSPA pros, probably the only exception being Rain.
Flash is one of the better ones though, he needs more consistency, same as JD

Head-to-head records.
MC>Jaedong>Flash

He played enough Broodwar to know how TvP goes in the opening phases, it should almost be automatic to make a damned bunker.

OH yes.. MC rolled to a godly 3-2 record, same as Flash/Jaedong and he barely managed to beat Flash despite being so economically ahead after the stupid blunder of not having a bunker.
Flash is arguably better than MC at this point; it's depressing he went full greedy instead of playing safe, the downfall of Flash is his TvT but in the Yoda/Taeja games, he's gradually improving on that weakness.
Jaedong is inconsistent right now but he's an absolute beast when in form.

MC, JD and Flash were all 3-2
MC beat Jaedong and Flash = MC advances as 2nd
Jaedong beat Flash = JD gets wild card.

MC beat Flash and Jaedong, so his 3-2 is better than their 3-2, making him 2nd.
Jaedong beat Flash, so he gets 3rd.
