I mean, it could have some more optical candy, but... it's the first time I'm seeing a game on this map and it is great so far. Very crazy positional play, drops, army splits. That's how Starcraft 2 should be! Welcome to TvT. Not like the map is helping for that to happen, but the MU. Well, as a Random player I know a bit about TvT myself, but this game is very different. Since there is no watchtower and so much more space for drops they can't rely on one position for their whole army. This is way more refreshing than every TvT I saw recently, where it is all about "Take the watchtower", "Siege at the watchtower", "Wait for your enemy to run into your tanks" I didn't see it refreshing to be honest, i enjoyed it, but it wasn't OMG CRAZY. I think the map is good for TvT, but what makes it interesting is the MU, since they are more old school race while the others got stupidly wrong reinforcement mechanics. Watch a non TvT on this map and you will realize what i am speaking about.

completely fails to even attempt to use that advantage for twenty minutes... finally engages in a major battle at the ONLY point in the game where he was at an upgrade DISADVANTAGE... mismicros that same battle so that, despite heavily outnumbering his opponent, the same number of marines are actually fighting for both players... proceeds to completely get outmaneuvered for the rest of the game by simply hoping Fantasy was making noobishly bad mistakes and finding out, over and over, that Fantasy is not a total noob... he used to be good ![]()

It just that Puma isn't playing as good. stalemale maps are always borng. We want action everywhere all the time. This map is just terribad. I don't think you're actually watching the same game.. why are you making these kind of post? You really didn't get what I meant by stalemale? TvT is the ultimate "stalemate" match-up. But where you say stalemate, I say positional play. When there's tanks involved, the game slows a bit, but makes positioning and decision making so much more important. That game Fantasy played safe because he knew Puma was starving. He held his advantage and put the burden and pressure on Puma to do something. And that "stalemate" would have eventually broken when Fantasy got his BCs out on the field.

Very good players make good players look terrible. Puma didn't play bad, but fantasy had the right amount of units at the right places. Maybe he is more used to playing on this map. Exactly this. Fantasy has been an amazing terran @ sc1 and he will do great in sc2 too.

He flew 3 medivacs and 2 or vikings into Fanta's marines. That's when Fantasy got a clear lead in the game. Don't think we can say that he throw away the game though.
