My guess would be that they hide their faces because they are just shy or they don't think they are good looking. Korean culture is very "looks" based (just look at the kpop industry). Everytime i forgot the answer to that same fucking question that i ask again and again since the day of BW. Every time someone answer it fly out of my head and next match i'm like "damn.. Why do they hide again ?"
