My guess would be that they hide their faces because they are just shy or they don't think they are good looking. Korean culture is very "looks" based (just look at the kpop industry). it's not fucking soul stealing that's retarded. it's because koreans are very superficial and care about appearance, if they get a picture or video of themselves they want to be wearing all the makeup and the best clothing they can afford. they are afraid of looking uglier than they can be essentially.
