I think it is due to the training regimen and how KeSPA teams have ALWAYS put their #1 priority on Proleague. Many players practice their whole careers and dont get on the past individual league qualifers, let alone step onto the Proleague stage at Yong San. When they do get a shot at the A-team this may be one of their few opportunities to get any recognition, and when they lose they know they might not ever get a shot again (look at BW TLPD profiles for marginal A-team players, they often only get 2 to 8 games to prove themselves unless they are amazing in the in house rankings and rise quickly and get many opportunities, see: Zero, Soulkey, Snow, Rain etc)

Nah, i'm watching the Korean stream. Way more entertaining than a muted stream. And the quality is better... Still, I paid for that english cast ![]()

And another thing, it's not easy to find people who want to drop their lives and move to Korea for a low-paying casting gig.

The players I mentioned did well or got many opportunities, unlike marginal players who may get less than a dozen televised games if lucky.

These guys are pretty much full-time unless you are a senior.
