that too.

I figured he's just get 3/1 or 3/2 then go, his decisions are just so odd.

I think DRG would have beaten just about any other Zerg in the world in that position (or at least done much, much more damage). Great series, even for a ZvZ!

It looks like the audio is ever so slightly out of sync rather than the whole thing having been re-dubbed.

Why not? Should he wait for +3+2? That takes 3.5minutes. You can't wait that long. He thought he saw an opportunity but he misjudged the situation and clumped all his units in a choke vs infestors. If there truly had been an opportunity for a good engage he should take it.

I would say that every ZvZ in vegas was "good" but it was also the same almost every time, 2base to 50 drones, then spam lings/banes at the third and try to outmicro your opponent.

After that if you killed their third you were ahead in the roach/infestor and the game is yours to lose, if not it's roughly even.

I think DRG thought he might have an army lead since he lost some drones to Life's attacks, but had won the last couple of battles, that's why he attacked.

OMFG watching GomTV without the Gom player <3

I actually like the player for watching videos, but it always seemed to give me issues when watching GSL live...

you need a lot of understanding of the matchup to get what every move/mind game etc means (as in every matchup), there were soo many little details both players did it was amazing, 3-2 score either way is a fair result too

What was impressive about it oO? He didn't play greed and got a spinecrawler with queen block, it's something every top zerg does, the reason why it worked so well against DRG in game 4 was because DRG didn't get a spine crawler

I was more impressed with how well it went for DRG, I expected it to do little to nothing with a spine+ queen block.

wow crazy stat

For optertown's sake lol, the stat is that Life has 100% victory rate upon winning the first game in a set. Total of 12 sets where this happened.

hmm, not bad. life hasn't been in the GSL very long, so it makes sense, since he's only been in GSL when he was good haha.

Also, Life has a 100% winrate on Belshir Vestige

Life has 100% winrate before 9 mins.

Life is probably the best in handling gimmicky and rush situation.
Play your best

Yes but the micro wars are very exciting to watch, and when it goes into the late game, people do make mistakes, and the lead does change hands sometimes, making for exciting games. In the late game each engagement becomes critical since the momentum can swing so heavily after a big commitment. The last game of Hyun vs Sniper was amazing, for example.
