Even if he had better macro, it doesn't matter. Because his 'style' is all based on defense so macro doesn't matter as much as long as you get max. Eventhough it makes the game 'look' close, it really isn't. Remember, Goody never had to move his army and go on creep. If the fights are on creep and you need to control moving the entire army, it looks totally different. It is like a soccer team playing all 10 man as defenders, they might only lose 2-0 to a superior team. But they will always lose. You can't really say "Well, if they learned to score a couple goals, they can win". But remember to get the goals, they would have to commit players going forward, thus weakening their defense and they can lose 4-0, 5-0/ | ||

There is a reason that this style is so very strong on Metropolis, and that Goody can defeat Stephano on it. Mvp even did it against a protoss, and would've won if he had scouted the mothership and not had his BC's clumped up. Also nice analogy | ||

But I don't think you can really make deep runs in tournaments just using this style. You can probably pick up some wins using blind all-ins as well. So I think that is fine. It is not like he is winning tournaments left and right with poor mechanics (that would be imbalanced). He can pick up wins here and there with an unique style, good for him. I am just try to show people that are going "If Goody had better macro, he would be a dominate player". | ||
