A nydus is on the way and DRG uses it for reinforcements. Mvp's siege does finish in time, and Mvp is madly cranking out marauders. The natural has to lift, but Mvp now has 3 highground siege tanks and drives DRG off. DRG starts +2 range, investor pit and double expands. However, DRG did manage to drop a few creep tumours and crapped up Mvp's third location, delaying his 3rd base. DRG's hive and spire starts as his first investors pop out as Mvp tries to transition into mech. DRG has a much better economy than Mvp; Mvp takes his 3rd at the center Daybreak location. Roach runbys continue to do a bit of damage here and there and denies a 4th. Apparently supply is even, but greater spire is almost done. Brood lords start as well as crackling attack. Mvp has a nice defensive setup at home, so DRG's roaches are unable to do more damage through runbys. DRG moves out with a scary BL/queen/investor army. Mvp's got 11 vikings up but DRG seems to easily take out Mvp's center base. Meanwhile, Mvp has a tank driveby to DRG's 4th and 5th which do shut down mining, but Mvp is losing the fight on his side of the base. Queen tranfuse and corruptors are too strong, and DRG takes the game! It was worth a watch, since the early pressure ended up choking out Mvp's economy. Solid game by DRG. | ||
