Now imagine the following: Mvp can't play because his wrist problems are still not solved. No terran anymore. Haha. Don't hope it's gonna happen though.

But, I gotta say, violet was a hero tonight--he made leenock look mortal, took him to the edge. Go violet!

Have an Extended-series Grand final and have your semi-finals BO3. *shakes head in disgust* violet shows a 3-2 in the Grand Final - and loses the tournament ! lol

It was double elimination. Would be more disgusting if leenock was the only person who never got a second life. If it was single elim, violet would have been out before that point. Still amazing to me how so many people still don't understand how double elimination works. Violet was only in the finals because he got a 2nd chance after already losing to leenock in the winner's finals.

Should be groups , winners and losers bracket to get into groups and top places in the group goto playoffs - then you have a grand final that is played on its own terms - not relying on earlier games. As I said - violet wins the grand final 3-2 and loses the tournament - you cant see a problem with that ? When a player performs better in the Grand final - they should win the whole thing. Like BWC, GSL etc.

The crowd was cheering for random things all weekend. Also the whole we're exhausted and something is actually happening.

Then please host your own tournament and get all the best players in the world to come. Leenock won first series 3-1, should he have lost because he lost the second 2-3? You can't see a problem with that. Violet went into the finals 1 set down, he won the second set 3-2 and lost the tie breaking 3 set 1-2 so he lost. It is not too hard to understand. Group play only really makes since when you have a seeding system in place like GSL, WCS (with the regions). Or else you can get groups like Leenock, Life, HerO, Polt. Which would not be fair for the players.

This is like eSports 101...
