Kind of funny that this tournament with a $25,000 first place prize is getting very little attention. And WTF, CombatEX played in an international tourney and did that well? LOL I can't believe that's not getting more attention. I just now learned about randomly cuz I was browsing through Liquipedia...I'll bet a lot of people don't even know.

Actually the only talk there was was about CombatEX. Maybe too much talk about him and yeah, really not enough about WCG. And Adelscott in the finals is already bigger of a news than CombatEX winning in the group stage imo.

To be fair, Adel did not have to go through a single Korean, dropped his game against combatex, and had his biggest wins come against Fenix, Fraer, and LoWeLy, who while those are very good players they are not exactly the players you want to beat to get a hype train going. I mean, if LoWeLy can take 3rd place his 2-0 of YongHwa, 2-0 of MarineKing, and win against MacSed would seem much more impressive to me in retrospect than a 2nd place by Adel even with Adel winning the head to head. (Now, if Adel wins the whole thing, obviously this changes)

Go Adel ! Pour la France ! Because if Parting win it will be the 4th place in GSL Point Ranking System that will win the seed.

I hope parting wins it, then again WCG was never about just starcraft I always love watching all the random other games too. It has a really lovely vibe around it, truly unique.

Adelscott really came out of no where here. I would love nothing more than for him to beat Parting.

The funniest part is that he was in his worst career's period until these WCG. Unable to go through the pool play in a french tournament for example. (Wiki)http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Francophone Championship Season 1. So it's a very good surprise to see him in the grand finals. And if he earns the spot for the GSL Tour it will be the icing on the cake.

That's exactly why I say he came out of no where, because he was doing so bad lately. I bet nobody even expected him to get out of that group.

Exactly. I'm a Millenium fan but honestly, I didn't see him to go through his group (I didn't expect fraer and KiLLeR fail so hard neither). Glad I was wrong.

So Parting is going to win BWC and WCG? That's a solid way to end the year.

It's at the same time as IPL and GSL, and there are hardly any good players in this. It's not really taken seriously by most fans.

I'd love to see a foreigner take this for a change. Go Adel! But any idea why they're playing the grand final before the third place match? That doesn't make much sense to me.
