The only time Korea won WC3 WCG was Last year (maybe 2 years ago?) When Remind (NE) won vs Grubby(Oc).

I'm pretty sure. The Korean casters cried because Korean's hard work finally paid off in WC3 (when support from Korea was basically done)

Day9 and Husky should play a showmatch, now that would be boss.
I want to cry that this sadly will never happen. I mean, the whole WC3 epic era was kind of before the current level of streaming activity (twitch etc), VOD quality and overall esports super wide community. Imagine how vibrant this scene could be right now, if it could be revived. The game is so awesome!

P.S. Imagine Stephano back to WC3, but now kicking everyone's ass.

If you ask about WC3, WCG is really unlucky tournament for Korean players. If I am not mistaken, ReminD and Lyn were the only players to win WCG's (in 2010 and 2011 respectively). It was always Chinese / foreigner tournament, especially with Sky and Grubby both winning 2 titles.

Well, the Chinese scene is still around. Not exactly kicking, and I'm sure it's hard to show support from overseas, but I encourage everyone to bookmark war3.replays.net and periodically check the right-hand bulletin for upcoming tournaments to watch. There are three more coming up.

HFWL 16强淘汰赛 12月7日
AWL四强Lawliet vs FoCuS | RMD vs Lyn 12月7日20:00
G联赛八强线上复赛 12月15日&17日

Also, like, Yumiko's always uploading stuff to his channel too, and the 2v2 scene is really fun to follow these days, with Ted/Fly, Lucifer/Nicker, and TH000/Yumiko playing 2s.

Yes, Sweet fans unite!

Hard to talk down to TeD though, he's easily one of the best UDs in history (even before this victory). I also think TeD and FoV are around the same level in looks.

Exactly my thoughts WC3 would be so extremly popular game with all the support that SC2 gets... This WCG finals was epic, but we had many series like this, it's just Warcraft being so amazing. I really wish WC3 could be revived

Sweet was a complete boss, but my favorite Undead will always be Lucifer. He had the most wacky strats back in the days when he was new to the scene and it was so awesome to watch.

Lucifer still has the weirdest styles. Watching him FP is amazing too; his control is incredibly smooth.

I thought Luci was still playing, but I don't think I've caught him streaming at all recently within the past month.
