 Creator vs RainGame 4 - Antiga Shipyard Both players opened without much variation and continued along similar paths as they both dropped stargates. Phoenix-production ensued, but while rain dropped gates, Creator dropped a robo. Creaotr flew two phoenix towards the main of his opponent, but they were met by three of Rain and both were lost in the impossible retreat. Both players put down their expands relatively early, but through his early advantage Rain was able to force a cancel from Creator. As Creator restarted his nexus, both players doubled-down on phoenix-production, with Rain putting down an additional stargate while Creator started +1 air weapons. The supply stayed similar with Rain slightly ahead in probes and soon Creator put down his second stargate and Rain began his air-weapon upgrade. The swarms of phoenix darted eachother until finally the players agreed on a fight and the two swarms of plains circled and traded evenly. Throughtout this period Rain used his better economy to invest in a third base and a fleat beacon in order to get the range upgrade. Creator once again pushed across the map for a two base timing, but arrived just as the range extension kicked in. The result was a one-sided slaughter. Rain's propensity for the long game didn't cost him this game as his investment in the range-upgrade secured a decisive victory, 2:2 | ||
