So I'm doing the math right now. MC is guaranteed 7th or 8th place, he's in the playoffs. If DeMusliM wins, Sen, finale, and DeMusliM are in the playoffs from Division 5. If DeMusliM loses, he's in the wildcards and Oz and Arthur play a tiebreaker for the final playoff spot. If NightEnD wins, him, Galaxy and TT1 have to play a tiebreaker to remain in the league. If NightEnD loses, he's out of the league. ALL THE THINGS DEPEND ON DEMUSLIM VS. NIGHTEND.

Hello.

Our standings are very simple

a 2-0 win gives a player 2 points, a 2-1 win gives a player 1 point, a 1-2 loss gives a player -1 point, and a 0-2 loss give a player -2 points.

The standings are by total points.

I hope this helps to clarify. If you have any further questions, please direct them to admin@nasl.tv

Thank you.

Hello

I was updating liquipedia till I noticed the standings were calculated differently with your site. On NASL site you guys take the difference between games won and games lost to calculate the standings (regardless of matches won/lost). On liquipedia the players were sorted on matches won then games won (regardless of mathes lost and games lost). Any clarification on this so we don't misinform everyone that's using liquipedia? Thanks.

Greetings

Ibo

I just spoke with the person who originally sent you that PM in October. Standing are by record, then total points. It was a miss-communication, sorry for the confusion.

You need to update the OP... Wasn't Sheth vs. T-funk rescheduled from yesterday to today?

What do you mean? Record always comes before points (wins minus losses), points are for tiebreaks if their records are the same.

He means the people that have been editing liquipedia are stupid. edit - What I mean by this is I just edited switching LoWeLy and Strelok in division 3. LoWeLy had less points but a better match record so the editors thought he was last place in the group.

Yeah I don't know who started doing it that way, it started happening during the few weeks I wasn't paying attention.

So if nightend defeats Demuslim 2-0 we could have a 3 way tie for the last elimination spot?

Indeed and demuslim would lose the direct seed to the main event and goes to wild cards instead.

Since there is no WCS event at this NASL, is there going to be 16 people again, or just 8?

MMA Stephano reschedule... TT

edit - did more math, DRG and HwangSin aren't in wildcards. 0% chance. Sheth wins = Sheth wildcards, sheth loses = Ryung, PuMa, & loser of MMA/Stephano tiebreaker.

That wouldn't make sense because all MMA Stephano does is shift seeds in the top 12, it doesn't knock anyone out. Even though the loser of MMA/Stephano will be at +1 it doesn't move anyone out of the top 12 because they're both above hwangsin and DRG (the ones tied for the last spot right now) in the first place. It all depends on Sheth losing to Thorzain because if Sheth loses 0-2 it's a tie between Hwangsin & DRG, and if sheth loses 2-1, it's a 3-way tie between sheth, hwangsin, and DRG, right?

I'm looking at it as If DeMusliM beats NightEnD because I see it more likely than NightEnD winning, making Arthur and Oz behind DeMusliM, finale, and Sen, making them the top 2 spots in wildcards and DeMusliM/finale/Sen top 8/in playoffs... and Stephano/MMA losing makes them 4-4 +1 score tied with PuMa/Ryung... Does this make more sense now, hopefully?

edit - When I looked at this it all depends on map score of the matches... PuMa/Ryung will be out if MMA/Stephano is 2-1 either way... @_@

Sorry... I'm stupid... I was thinking only 12 players made wildcards... It's 14... but yeah, it will be a PuMa/Ryung/[MMA/Stephano(if 2-0)] tie breaker for the top 2 of those 3 for a wildcard spot anyways... but yeah, 100% chance of a tie breaker involving Ryung vs. PuMa.

I don't blame Golden for saying his bracket was easy... After looking at his opponents compared to SortOf's... Top half of the bracket IMBA.

Here we go. NightEnD loses one game TT1 and Galaxy are guaranteed to stay in the league and NightEnD is out!
