Only speculation on my part, anyway, since these translations are never really 100%. Just because he's sad about having to forfeit GSL doesn't mean he didn't want to come to MLG.

I mostly root for people who bring in the thunder aka the best games. then ofc I want them to win. The foreigners deliver sometimes, but not always. Most of the good Koreans deliver.

This is what happens when you try to "fix" double elimination brackets. It can't be done. It should really just be straight, standard double elim for the entire tournament, until the finals, in which the winner gets a free game towards the best of 7. Instead, we have a situation in the semis where a player could have lost *twice* already, yet still eliminate an undefeated player in a single, standard best of 7. Come on.

I like to see "my team" win it all, but if my national team loses in football WC, I will definitely, DEFINITELY watch Brazil vs Italy in the world finals (or whatever great teams get there). High skill games are amazing to watch, watching your player win is amazing to watch, they're not mutually exclusive in any sense.

Well obviously it was Rain>Nani - 'duh. Why not make this a KR vs everone else issue if that is(was) the topic and storyline at hand when it's 1vs11 in the top 12 -_-

Yeah but the difference between the koreans and Ukranians is that koreans are actually the best in the world so it's still interesting to watch.
