This is what Terrans who aren't on Flash and MVPs level look like. Heart is getting absolutely terrorized the same way Taeja did FIVE games in a row. Life and Flash are on such a different level from everyone else that even the slightly mistakes look much bigger than they really are, any lesser players would fold and never be able to make this mistakes even come to fruition. | ||

Many Terrans in TvInfestor try to prespread their units and avoid a battle if possible. E.g. a group of stimmed bio hovering in reserve on a flank to kill an expo quickly when slings chase up the middle too far. Infestors will already be out of position since they are in/near the battle and too slow to safe expos. Much of Life's rise in ZvT is pressing Terrans farther back (closer to T's home) so they do not have the proper angles to snipe hatcheries/tech. To do that, Life has his slings/corruptors (screeners) are out on the fringers controlling the edges and providing less screening for their zoners in the middle (funal/broodlings) Providing so little screening for his gas units forces Life to walk the razor's edge on what is/isn't safe, which is why it's so hard to reproduce for lesser Zergs. Most of the highest levels of play is about chasing severely diminishing levels of return with higher and higher risks if you fail. | ||
