No, most of the people that I know that at the event are actually at the LoL section HINT: I live in Dallas

Why would you sit there when you could go look at the feature stations or get some food/drink or mess around in all the dif booths, heaps of other things to do than just sit there for three days ^_^

I feel like Major has an outside chance because i have seen him go very heavy on hellions, Life arch nemisis.
Watch GSL finals?
Unless Major hellions are MVP hellions,Major won't stand a chance.

We'll have to settle for 2nd most popular esport

Protoss got buffs to deal with the all in, it's not like they suddenly figured it out. Ironically, it's the immortal buff that was given to Protoss to deal with 1/1/1, that makes the wonwonwon so powerful now. Even before that buff, the trend towards bigger maps and 1gate FE being more standard had as big a part to play as well Maps are part of 'buff/nerf' as well. I don't think too many people would complain about BL/infestor if map was crossfire. Crossfire was still a zerg heaven statisticly tho xD
Yeah, but the complaints would be more about mutas bouncing from main to third. Builds like 1-1-1 are a lot less scary on big maps with cross spawns.

Not sure how this is relevant unless you have like 1000 friends at mlg.
Worth posting it twice?

Particularly because, despite doing well in the MvP (and it was already obvious that the MvP was a terrible measure of relative skill in the end), they just lost their first matches to not especially hot protoss. Especially in Daisy's case.

and considering how crappy this event has been, I don't think KeSPA will be in any hurry to send their money makers.

SC2 audience is slightly larger than LoLs if the Flash vs Grubby numbers were anything to go by.
I wouldn't expect huge crowds for open bracket games. LoL has no open bracket, every game is a top team vs a top team.
|
To be fair, Its not SC2 is dying but its a bit late yes also the games just aren't really that exciting matchups.
