Well, you are comparing the best country with the best players against a nation that doesn't have much of a societal/economic focus on e-sports.

Pretty standard actually.
10 pool is a BO advantage over 15/15.

I know, but 10 pool macro build was first used heavily by his teammate. I didn't see the beginning of the game.

WCS Korea > WCS Asia > WCS Worlds
So Creator is already the WCS champ! I think WCS Worlds will be harder than WCS Asia, actually. Some foreigners at WCS world are arguably much better than these chinese/taiwanese players. What he said! Put it this way - World WCS will be a ZvZ fest and the person with the biggest win-rate in ZvZ in the lineup is Nerchio Fenix is in LG-IM so he's clearly no noob and then you have Stephano, Scarlett and Lucifron there's more protoss qualified for BWC than zergs i think 13 each but all of the Non-Korean Protosses will be hoping on lucky draws to stand a chance of getting in Round 2 All non Korean/Stephano's will be I actually think we'll have a decent Terran showing but it'll be a major (see what I did there) kick in the balls if they end up in a TvT early on in the tournament meh I have 0 faith in foreign Terrans. I really am missing the Korean Terrans :/ (and Zergs for that matter -_-)

Same with all the foreign zergs besides Stephano/Nerchio

China has tremendous infrastructure for e-sport, just not focused on SC2. They have all the infrastructure that Korea has, but focused on WC3, Dota1/2 and LoL

China has e-sports focus on gold-farming, and really it's probably more rational in its own way. You are more likely to get an income from it.

Perhaps I should restate my words. I meant infrastructure for SC2, compared to the MOBA games. Excuse my ignorance.

Was that a Kingdom Hearts song..?

The quality of the stream is a bit disappointing. It's an improvement over yesterday, where it wasn't actually watchable due to the stream issues; though I would've preferred that it wasn't so grainy. it almost seems as though the 720p is closer to 480p.

The fact that there's 150k viewers on the Taiwanese LoL stream and 50k on the Chinese right now justifies this They've actually passed half a million btw combined, I could only dream if a Dreamhack event could reach that.

Korea got a huge head start in SC2, so not surprising that China focused on other games. Arcade fighting games is dominated by Japan/US. Shooters by EU.

Meh, Korea is starting to get a foot in the door when it comes to fighting games. The only one that is really dominated by US is UMvC3.

It's a bit depressing that all the games are ZvZs, PvPs, and PvZs now.... they're my least favorite to watch.
I really hope the few terrans that are qualified for WCS Finals don't get eliminated early on, or it's gonna be a boring tournament for me TvPs and TvZs are the most fun matchups imo.
That said, I'm really hoping for a herO vs HerO WB finals just for the sake of humor
