There's a reason why Terrans don't do this style anymore, and Stephano pretty much pulled out the style that absolutely killed GanZi's. I'm guessing the reasoning is that he wanted to catch Stephano off guard with a fast third base with no gas and out maneuver the zerglings and queens, but Stephano at that point already had the 1/1, banelings, and eventually the infestors. Stephano was down in supply because he decided to take the opportunity to jump to a really fast hive, because he knew that Ganzi had no capability of making any kind of gigantic push without a fast third base, only small nimble armies and medivac drops, which can easily be dealt with proper splits of the infestors. Ultralisks with 2/2 over 1/1 marines no marauders. It was over before it even began. | ||
