Either for academic purposes or for game developers to understand what game testers look at during testing. That and maybe for hardcore professional teams. The problem with eye trackers is not the tracking. You can build your own tracking devise with an infared LED, an normal webcam and a peace of photo negative. However the calculation power is the problem. Its not easy to calculate life = 100-1000 pics per sec. The numbers they show indicates they can do way more than that. Its more a question of cpu power than good device. | ||
