I haven't finished watching the rest of the games but I have to say Leenock played fucking amazing. The way he kept gaining slight advantages after being down so much on Antiga culminating in one of the most beautiful engagements ever (I will admit Hero played terrible at the ned of the game). He might have given me hope to win a ZvP one day :p

If your boss fire you for saying stupid things, your freedom of speech have not been violated, it just means you can't be arrested for saying stupid things. Now, if you are thinking Freedom of Speech as a ideology, well TL also have the right to do whatever they want in this regard. Were arguing different points...i am talking about the ideology. I say it is your right to say whatever you want (stupid things), and I think its dumb for Tl mods to waste time patrolling all the forums looking for immature and dumb comments just to ban them... it is a video game (starcraft 2/dota2/bw) forum so obviously there will be little kids on it. Also its extremely ineffective... it would literally take them like 3 minutes to make another account
Naw, it seems that TL can track alternative accounts pretty effectively.

As I've said before, a zerg with mass infestors can be behind in econ (by a lot) and still be ahead or even with his opponent. In PvZ, the zerg and protoss actually switch roles in the late game. I think the same is true (probably to a lesser extent) in ZvT as seen in the games between Stephano and Lucifron. Most people still don't realize this.

When someone says anything along the lines of "I know I'll get banned but..." it leaves the mods in a dificult position. If they ban the guy, people will think they've missused their powers to get rid of criticism, and if they don't people will get away with awful posts.
Instead TL mods just ban anyone who is trying to make a matyr of themselfs, regardless of what the rest of the post might contain. Basicly, ask to get banned and you will get banned.
Of course you knew all this since it's mandatory that everyone reads the ten commanments when joining, right?

Also that post was atrocious. He insulted everyone who disagreed with his position. Although he says it isn't "balance whine" he also declares there is "no reason to explain" which means that it's not an informative post.

I know everyone is done with this thread, but this is the comment I agree most with. Though I hate the mothership mechanic in PvZ, after rewatching the game and listening to leenocks interview it really isn't like this was a desperation attempt, or luck, it was planned.
Leenock knew roughly how this match would go down, just as many zergs get screwed in this map against tanks and terran, leenock uses the all important middle with zerg tanks (broodlords) and forces the best possible engagement.
Yeah hero went in with a big lead into the last engagement but leenock planned a similar scenario to the situation he was in and the outcome went as he hoped. Hero probably should have been more patient, he let leenock take the high ground. He left his most important unit unguarded, and he ran away with part of his army while some was trapped in the vortex.
Honestly Hero might have jsut been better off without the mothership or at least zoning with HT and using Mass Recall.

This is the internet AKA world wide. TL should have the authority to punish whomever they want. You're treating TL like it's only a website that's accessible to people only in the United States.

Cool day's games, HerO's looking extremely good, and Leenock looked pretty fearsome in his historical worst matchup. Heart got a lot of undue hate, guy's got chops and Squirtle was Squirtle, looked solid today but didn't get the rub of the green. This was only Ro16 but it's fearsomely stacked these days
Also, Liquid now have Korea 1 and 2 in the current ELO rankings. Doesn't mean much but pretty cool nonetheless.

It is a cardinal rule to never martyr. The content of a post does not matter if you martyr yourself, there will be a ban incoming no matter what.
Hate it or love it, it is a very easy rule to live by. There is no reason to say stuff like 'Ban me if you must, but...'. If the post contains nothing that will get you banned, you won't be banned. If it does, then you get what you deserve.

Wasn't referring to that guy's ban, I waste enough of my life on this website to know that now  Was more answering the guy who was talking about TL being a bit ban-heavy and why I liked the way the mods do things here
