lol thank man, so the twitch server are in LA ?

http://www.speedtest.net/result/2197526742.png

i think it's at least enough to do not lag in 720p

Weird, I thought it was in San Franscisco. I thought all the Koreans who streamed at Twitch HQ were stuck in SF due to their flight being canceled because of that typhoon. But was that actually in LA?

the dude said that he doesn't know, but i will try with san francisco

Vortix certainly can play patchzerg style, but he also has a strong midgame and is not afraid to put on some heat with liar tech units and then transition to T3.

Looks like he's going to do just that ftw.

I love watching the STC play, he makes such huge, sweeping changes from game to game in relation to his opponents.

I haven't seen any midgame timing by any terran (except Taeja who's ridiculous) have any success against any zerg in months.

Does anyone else play a game where they see how many overlords zergs make after they reach 200 supply?

I remember there was a Stephano game and he just kept making overlords, so he was like 200/400 lol.

Gogo THESTC!

To be honest I have barely ever seen him play standard...

That's because you don't watch him. If you watch his official games, yes it's very nonstandard, but he isn't a cheeser if you're trying to imply that.

He was the first besides TOP in beta to play a macro style(as terran) with more than 2 bases...

Earlier BLs this game, with that many tanks / Marauders being built at a time, this could hurt thestc in the long run. At least it will if vortix survives long enough.

Vortex had a pretty good lead after stopping that 2rax but now he's like 40 supply behind. Sloppy play, not quite on par with his Game 1 domination. I think it was that earlier attack at the third where he threw away like 40 supply and did almost no damage.

Yeah Taeja makes TvZ look balanced, but he's the only one I've seen(at least without going Mech) do that.

But I was referring to being down vs a top korean terran, who was aiming for a follow up push to continue the momentum, attacking in two places. Vortix stayed calm, plaeyd well, and macroed, which is the definition of a good player and broke the mold of patchzerg.

I didn't imply that at all, what I said was that he barely ever plays standard, which is true. Also, I think I have seen pretty much every game he played in the GSL. What made you think that I implied that he is a cheeser?
