Yes. He rushed towards that base and didn't set up tanks in a spread out fashion. Stuck with all the tanks on a ramp while being flanked is set to fail.

It's the same with ZvZ. The Queen buff improved the matchup greatly, and yet whenever we see a ZvZ pop up people still complain about how "bad" and "boring" the matchup is because of how it was a year ago.
It's a bit bothersome by this point.

I assume it's mostly not seeing all the details that make a matchup great. Protoss is the one race I don't play, and I don't enjoy PvP, but I'll freely admit that I simply don't understand the matchup. It feels random. I love ZvZ and TvT though. I should probably play some Protoss, I think it would make it a lot more fun to watch Starcraft.

PvP is basically openings colliding of the immortal/blink and occationally pheonix variety and often times they will either kill or severly weaken opponent. After that if both sides are relatively unscathed and are able to expand it goes into 2-3 base collosus play which is ridiculously annoying to both play and watch because its really a lot of posturing (similer to TvT but without the multi pronged aspect).
If the game goes on long enough then it reaches a fairly unexplored lategame where what is best isnt really defined though the few times I get there I prefer to play with mothership and carriers.
