Stephano and Nerchio should be the biggest favourites, but I wouldn't count MaNa out. Other than those there's some upset potential from VortiX or Bly if they can overcome Nerchio's ZvZ. Predicting Stephano to win anyways.

Very similar to my hope actually:

1. Thorzain
2. Grubby
3. Whitera
4. Nerchio
5. Mana
6. Demuslim
(Stephano is already qualified for WCS Global so he can afford not to top 6 this time. )

Though I realize that White-Ra top 6ing is a long shot. I'd also be fine with a pure terran top six to be honest. I've certainly never said that before but they are virtually an extinct race so far in WCS Global Championship. I think 3 have qualified so far, and it's looking very likely that no terrans will qualify from Asia. (No korean Terrans made it to the Asia qualifiers, and there are only 4 from Thailand, Taiwan and China. Fingers are crossed that Infi or RedArchon will somehow find a way...)
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

Stephano BoX losses to foreigners in 2012 live tournaments: 2 to Protoss (Mana at Dreamhack, Sase in MLG Spring Arena 2, 1 to zerg (slivko at Dreamhack), 0 to terran. Yet somehow only 37% of people think Stephano will win this Korean-less tournament.

His ZvZ sucks, and we have so many great zergs out there.

He also has won his last five games vs Nerchio, and boasts a 10-5 record against him overall, and I think if anyone Nerchio would be most likely to upset him here I think. We'll see though, the plane delay might shake things up a bit.

Only against Korean zergs. Like I said, he's only lost 1 ZvZ to a foreign zerg in a major tournament this year.

Yea, but SortOf is really strong, and he wasn't before. Also last match vs nerchio was soooo close, and I feel it will go other way if they meet now. We'll see tho. Stephano has the best chances, but it's not that there is noone to stop him.

EDIT: Also, on the right side of the bracket, there is rly only Titan to stop him. No other good players (with good shape right now). Real beasts will come from left side.

Na Thorzain has an outside chance of stopping him, even though Stephano basically doesn't lose to Terran.

I expect to see "upsets" here because this tournament is way more hyped then NA finals and overly hyped tournaments always have lots of upsets.

Thorzain would have that chances, but he's been playing rly awful for few months.

Stephano has a lapse of two hours from arrival to play time, correct? Same as Demuslim who will be on the same flight. How will they possibly do well?

Decided to drive down to Stockholm so that I wouldn't hate myself later for not being there.
Too bad the weather decided to stick it to me; 7 hours of biking in coldness, rain and +20m/s winds. Water in my boots.

First thing I saw when I finally arrived at the hotel was Vortix and Lucifron walking down the stairs outside. Shit got real.
Later - after some good thawing in the shower - I went down to grab something to eat. EV-ER-Y-ONE was there! :O
Yeah, that was just Tasteless chatting with White-Ra. Standard.

Needless to say - I feel it. I feel the hype.

People assumed Stephano would lose to Nerchio at Dreamhack Summer too. And then Stephano just breezed past him.
