But vs Supernova JYP had great patience, good positioning and control and managed to turn two hard positions in his favor. Vs Life he miss-microed, was indecisive and looked, well, lost. Not sure that I totally agree. I have definitely seen Nova used Ghosts pretty spectacularly. Could be that it is a trend though, don't know enough I think to judge on that. What I really think it is would be that he has good days and bad days. Sometimes they come on the same day even. Should be interesting to see if he can get face JYP again at any rate.

The harassing almost never stopped from either player. Was very broodwaresque tbh. Of course it's going to look a bit sloppy with that much going on. "Pffffff.... 2/10 would not watch" At no point was it remotely similar to brood war. It never came down to execution, and I was never uncertain about the position of each player. At different times players made weird decisions and traded the lead back and forth. The strangeness of it created a vague sense of interest. Anyone who has watched a decent amount of Starcraft could tell what army would win right now, and who would be in a better position if things continued on the same path for 5 minutes. Changing tracks every 2 minutes doesn't create interest. Uncertainty does. The problem with Protoss/PvZ is that it lacks the dynamics for great, positional play to create wacky situations. Things are binary - the force field goes off on the ramp and the protoss wins, or the sentry gets sniped and the zerg takes a huge advantage. I'm a huge fan of both JYP (especially his PvZ) and Life, and I hated that match. There was nothing new or impressive, just a lot of really questionable decision making.

Can he do it? Given NesTea's ZvT lately I'd have to think yes

Once you've seen NesTea vs HuK on Tal'darim Altar (GSL November I think?), you become completely desensitised to bad play.
