CJ_Bb.yong Qualifies!

So Flying beats Mvp AND PartinG to make it to Ro8 OSL and then falls in Code A prelims... Just goes to show that although we love to designate players Code S level, Code A level , etc. Sometimes it just depends on who is in better condition on that day...

bbyong is a kespa player who was at about the same skill as MVP so he is potentially very good in sc2.

Looks like only about half of the groups have been won by elephants thus far - strange imo.

i think so far, the good elephants are very good, but the mid-tier (b-team) elephants have not quite gotten up yet

But there has been a shuffle with the elephants as well. Some of the top tier ones are still trying to find their comfort zone and some borderline A/B teamers are doing really well.

Wow Bisu was so close to qualifying. I feel a little better knowing he lost to Last, though.

4 out of 11 is much closer to a third than a half. We'll see if Bogus can take out True and Golden to make it 5 out of 11.

I wouldn't reed too much into this... Actually I'm afraid that the kespa players aren't preparing for gsl, just as they didn't prepare for the gom starleague in sc1. by.sun didn't even know what match ups he was going to play in his code-s group before the games. -_____-

This is not just for GSL. You can see this in WCS, PL, etc. Players coming out for ACE on their teams aren't the ones that got sent out in BW. Whether this is a temporary thing or a more permanent trend remains to be seen.

I am not saying ALL the top players in BW aren't doing well. What about Effort, Jangbi, Bisu, Stork, Stats?
