They didn't show it but I think he was mined out in his main and the natural couldn't have had that much left. Happy still had his third and the mules from that.

Are we talking about the same game? He was down a base, so he wasn't ahead in economy.

That was the 3rd dude... he also had less production and Happy had ghosts. He had a chance still probably but he didnt know that.
No, they showed a shot of Happy's nat right after the GG with two zealots having killed all of SCVs there and putting the orbital into red :p

That gg was odd.. I think he maybe ran out of money in his bases? he was on 2 bases and had alot workers.

Unless there was a drop/counter attack I missed, rain had a very good economy compared to happy. I think he still had a chance :/
Can't have an economy if you're mined out in your main and expo with no 3rd.

Seems like Happy is just nervous as fuck and making stupid decisions I feel really bad for Rain actually, he is clearly the better player imo. Happy just won with randomness. Rain completly fell apart because of 1 medivac. I dont know why Happy cheeses two games in a row, I think he is the better player

Seems like Happy is just nervous as fuck and making stupid decisions You really think that Happy deserves it more? I think Happy will do better on another day. Neither of them deserve to advance based on today's games, but Happy has shown some sick play with some serious stupidity behind it, whereas Rain has just benefitted from opponents making really stupid decisions in games he'd otherwise lost =/

If a player has 100 workers but nothing to mine from, does he have a good economy?
Question of the ages here.

Nope, what i meant was the 2nd, there were 2 zealots and a stalker and it was already in the deep orange, and happy did not have enough forces to defend both this 3rd and 2nd... Anyone of these 2 finishing first in this group will get ripped into shreds in the round of 16 by anyone
Okay i didnt catch that Rains bases were mined out, in this case it was over i guess...

No but if he's Terran he's got a sick timing attack ready :D

Right if he was mined out that would make sense. If there was a drop at the same time that'd also make sense.
It's kind of sad watching that game though, you play so well until you overextend once and that escalates into a loss. So volatile.. .

i love no stalkers as terran, makes toss so easy to beat. And Happy wants the oldschool weird series award. Not sure who deserves to win, happy who had the first game, or happy who messed up the first game so bad. Kinda doubt winning the last game is in Rains hand and more in happys or losing of course.

He didn't fall apart...He just had too few units to defend everything there. (Well if you play perfect I guess you can, but it's really, really tough.)
He threw the game away by overextending with his immortal-push, he wins easily if he just backs up there in time.
