The " Semi Finals " is actually the finals of each bracket, then the winner of that goes into the grand final where It's a best of 7 with no winner bracket advantage or extended series. same system as the arena.

I'm not sure how First's PvP is.. but if Hero gets past First then I'm confident he'll be able to take the tournament... if not violet will take it

I wouldn't be so sure. It's likely if he gets past First he will run into Stephano/MarineKing (assuming no upsets).

Hero is known for his PvZ (or at least he has been in the past... I think as of late it has slipped a bit) and I haven't seen enough of MKP lately to know where his TvP stands but he has a long road ahead of him
I think Taeja or aLive is the most likely to come through that side of the losers bracket and Taeja has shown a weakness to harass that Hero could exploit

Not sure why so many people expect MKP to win. Lately, his TvZ has been his worst matchup and he has at least 4 TvZ coming up if not more... realistically he can make it through a couple rounds then lose...

if you come from winners into the semifinals and lose there, do you get a second chance?
Like now, if Hero beats First. Hero goes to semifinal but loses there. Is he in that case out of the tournament?

As far as I know yes. It is like at Summer Arena where the loser of the upper/lower bracket final is out.
Most likely in the semifinal the player coming from the Winner's Bracket will have an extended series advantage. (Like in the group stage grand finals)

it looks like he would be out, which seems kind of unfair but you have to lose 2 series (due to extended series) in the semis if you win the winners round 1 so you get 2 shots at it
