day9 explains MLG system, i dont get it lol, dont even get the liquidpedia page, wth is wrong with good old group stages into KO system? The problem was that the winners and losers brackets converged on the finals which meant that the finals were almost always bad because the guy from the winners bracket has to have an advantage.
He already had the advantage of playing less rounds so he really didn't need anything else. Not sure why this is so hard to understand for some people. Anyway, this is somewhat overdiscussed lol. But thx for clarification! MLG just to stubborn to get a good system. lol no wonder they get along so well with kespa.

I haven't followed the DOTA 2 pro scene much at all. How do the chinese teams like iG normally stack up against teams like NaVi/mTw/etc?

The LoL game is hilarious actually. Hate the 1 hour turtle games, this is fun for a change <3

Am I the only one that thinks this MLG has sucked. I am having so many stream issues even though I have never had any in the past. Then when I restart stream I have the watch a 30 minute resident evil commercial. Also they have showed lame matches when there were other great ones going on. And if I don't have premium I am missing half the matches of the top 8? Really?

Can you really say that Taeja won g2 because of his macro/decision making/whatever-trait-you-want-to-adore or because Revival decided to baserace with Ultras in a narrow choke filled terran base (not to mention that it was against a terran in the first place) and then move command all his brood lords?
Hey, you managed to post more than 3 words in a post, Haxx - Good job, good to see that you learned from your ban for spamming the forums!
TaeJa had insane decision making that game - Even when Bitter was saying that TaeJa was behind, he was trading Marines for Infestors, completely awesome trades. I cannot fathom how the casters forgot to mention that Revivals infestor count was only 2 at the 15 minute mark, forcing him to stay passive even when Revival should be on the move to do a trade, as Zergs cant really attack without infestors at that stage of the game - When finally he was at TaeJa's base for the first time of the game, it was several minutes later than it was supposed to be and TaeJa just outmanouvered him.
Losing the Broodlords for free was a huge slip by Revival, but the game was already over - TaeJa picked him completely apart and forced Revival to take engagements that he didn't want to.
But other than that, yeah, being a TaeJa fan is pretty cool right now ^^

Are u serious? in a meta game where its normal for Zerg to be at 140-160 food and a terran to be at 100-120 food!! This dude is putting on aggresion like only a few can and staying even food with zerg all game long!! that is SICK ...you're missing the point yes he played fantastic, but that doesn't change the fact that he won because Revival choked hard and not because of his own marvel Once again, if people consistently ''choke'' vs a specific player, it's more than likely that it's due to forced errors rather than just a coincidence. A lot of people said the same thing about Flash during his God era, that people just choked, and if they had only done this or that they would've won. But when similar things happen so consistently, it's not just random luck.

This was expected though when you schedule a meaningless tournament a week before the biggest tournament for the NA teams.

I cannot comment on that one game because I was walking my dog, but let me say this. There is difference between unforced errors and forced errors. From what I've seen of Taeja he's very aggressive, so I wouldn't be surprised if some of the unforced errors are actually forced errors due to his aggressive play.
That's not to say players make unforced errors because they do all the time.
