It's just based on the results in IPL TAC 3, plus a bunch of teams qualified by some qualifier presumably. Teams which dropped out in the losers bracket round 1 seem to have been placed in the amateur division. Getting into the contenders or premier division seems to have required some TAC 3 success. Fnatic is in the amateur division, even though every one of their players is a full-time pro, I think. | ||

Pretty sure the players on Eclypsia can be defined as Pros. Apparently Eclypsia pays its players quite decently. It was the reason why so many players left BLAST to join it, as did SjoW from Dignitas. Also, Welmu is one of the best Protoss players in Europe, and if he resisted offers from bigger teams, I think it shows that they get paid well. | ||
