Perhaps we should wait until normal GSL season resumes before jumping to such conclusions. It is not just one GSL finals. Season 1 - 4 protoss in Ro8 Season 2 - 5 protoss in Ro8 Season 3 - 3 protoss in Ro8 WCS - 4 protoss in Ro4 6 Protoss in GSL points Top10 Overall, Protoss has been doing the best for the past 8 months. And you see this in ProLeague as well. Protosses are sent out as much as Terran and Zerg COMBINED.

Has Zealot... It's just wasted minerals in that case. It's the equivalent of NICE FUNGAL every time he hits more than 1 unit.

Protoss have dominated the GSL all year. 4/8 quarters in S1, and a runner up. 5/8 quarters in S2, and a runner up. 3/8 quarters in S3, and both finalists. They've had the best retention rate of participants over the year. They're also dominating the first OSL line up making up half the participant count with 4 out of 5 GSL P advancing to it and 3 out of 4 Kespa P making it. Couple that with the WCS domination and it's pretty much on the verge of surpassing Gom TvT in terms of dominance. Oo Protoss are true stealthy assassin.. because I didn't even notice it was that good for them. It would have been more obvious if MVP didn't want a 4th badge I guess. :p

This isnt close to gomtvt dominance but it's definetly Protoss favoured. I just wish we could have a balanced game and a remotely intresting PvZ-matchup ![]()

Of course protoss will have the best retention - their matchups haven't suffered any significant balance changes in a while. The win-rates remain even and any participation changes are simple results of more protoss players making it in place of falling terrans or in case of WCS due to Kespa participation. And no - the situation is nowhere close to the TvT days. 3/8 finalists is certainly not domination. It may be a case of a major no-preparation-time tournament being held in Korea with little known Kespa players but it's far to early to speak of distribution imbalance.

Imagine if Genius and Squirtle won...
