I think that just going with a 6pool dronepull would have been a far better idea, as it seemed apparent to me that he knew his opponent was 15hatching. Then again maybe he was playing scared... | ||

 Curious vs. Life Game 6On Daybreak Curious spawns 7 Life spawns 1 1:20 Life going for a 10 pool. 2:00 Curious goes for a hatch first 2:30 Curious getting gas before pool. Life moving across the map with lings 3:30 Curious pulls drones to defend. Life takes his natural. 4:20 Curious' lings finally come out and push back Life's lings only losing one drone. 5:30 Curious counter attacks killing a queen and two drones. Curious now has a big drone lead. 7:00 Curious going roaches. Life going banelings. 8:00 Both players start lair. Curious taking his third and getting +1 missiles. 9:00 Banelings pop just in time to stop a big attack from Curious. 10:00 Curious getting a spire while Life takes his third. | ||

The whole point of the 10 pool build is to make it seem as if you are going for an all-in. You force your opponent to turtle within his base and give up his natural. But since Curious knew Life was not doing an all-in, he chose to pull drones to challenge the lings. It was Curious' knowledge, not Daybreak's architecture, that made him win the game. | ||
