No, zeez is shorthand for the old name of our community.
Huh, I feel like there's something epic there I'm missing out on.
I think the community is the old Something Awful sc2 subforum, and zeez is somehow related to zyzz, the dead bodybuilder. The connection between the two? It is a mystery.

Zeez stood for Zealots and something, the name of the sc2 subforum... but it got closed and now sc2 talk is on the general Blizzard subforum.
Yup, after a brief survey there is indeed much epicness that I don't understand but wholly respect going on over there. They're joking about the goings-on here a bit, and why wouldn't you.
If they win and somehow do well in IPTL it'd be like a guy from the Deep South, like we're talking Louisiana swamps, winning an olympic shooting event with his saw'd off 12 gage. A guy which had trained his whole life because it came naturally to him. People might not appreciate the epicness, and may call him a red neck or whatever, but you gotta respect somebody competing at something he was born to do.
Well at least, that's what I get from a thirty second browsing through of their forums while looking over my shoulder to make sure my boss doesn't catch me while simultaneously answering phones at work.
Thank you for posting this video. I'm sorry that some people seem to be offended by our community getting excited about this thread, but I hope that this will clear things up for everyone.
If people are still unable to truly understand the purity of our cause, here is the deal. We had a thing. It was a little thing but it was our thing, and it was zeez. Then zeez was taken away by powers that be because apparently we didn't post hard enough. Now we must rip zeez

Who's getting offended?
I am incredibly offended this excitement disgusts me on so many levels.

Holy shit that game ended? I was looking at other stuff, listening and waiting for it to get intense or get to a climax to watch. Kevin and Joshy didn't change inflexion at all lol

Hehe yeah, poor Poetry didn't even get the chance to try and fight back because his SC2 CTD'd right when the drop hit his base.. but he was dead anyway, sadly.

Isn't he more interested in LoL now?
Pretty sure you're correct which is why I wonder the reason IPL keep bringing him in instead of finding someone new.
I remember they recruited some community casters a while back but I haven't heard of them for ages, I don't think they was met with a positive response.
I will add though atleast Joshy doesn't add all that stupid hype that a lot of casters do. He's just a simple play by play caster even if his knowledge is lower than average.
Yeah, gg all, I hope that the majority of viewers were able to enjoy the games and I really have to thank IPL a lot for reaching out and inviting smaller teams like us to take part in such a prestigious league. We fell today but zeez will be back, thanks to everyone who ripped zeez with us in the chat and we promise to show great games in the future.
ggs and rip zeez. as Lemony said though my SC2 just randomly crashed to desktop right as the overlords flew over my base so I never got to die with honor...

You guys almost made them bring out Capoch, very well done for a group of guys I hadn't heard of. Especially impressed with Jimmeh

Joshy here. While I did transition my own channel to mostly League of Legends, I have been working on SC2 every single day at IPL since I got here last June. I love both games but I can't justify casting SC2 outside of work with the few hours I have each night. To be honest, I really don't make many videos at all right now on AskJoshy due to lack of time. That's exactly why I am actually thrilled to be casting regularly again for IPL and I hope that you guys, the viewers, will bear with me while I regain my casting abilities. The more I cast and regain familiarity with the game, the better I'll be! Once HotS arrives I'll be learning it along with everyone else and I am excited for it.
