While the Code A qualies are still brutal it's not quite the same degree as they used to be when half the best players were still outside the GSL, and you see several people who might not really be on that kind of level make it in off an easy draw the last few seasons. only 1 kespa-player made it through the WCS without getting a seed and thats reality.

I think Bisu's issue is that his style of play doesn't translate as well to SC2 Protoss. Maybe he can try the HerO drop harass style but is definitely hard to pull off.

I think because you need a really good understanding as a zerg as to when to produce units and when to produce drones or tech. Your choice is really dependent on your opponent's actions. Whereas for terran/protoss, there are standard openings which you can basically follow that gets you to 2 base saturation and a decent size army. You might be slightly behind in macro since you didn't cut corners but you won't die outright to pushes.

I think that's smart for him at current stage. His advantage is mechanism in micro/macro, so he is better equipped to handle those high risk situations, however with current understanding and game decision it is not ideal for him to enter long term even games with GSL players.
