MKP doesn't look that good lately too.


Neither does DRG. MC is probably the best player in the tournament, but with Bo1 groupstages, it's difficult to say what will happen. Especially in PvPs.

Anyone wondering how long it will take for kespa players to be competitive should watch Gumiho vs Soulkey that happened tonight in the WCS.

Soulkey really played like a boss vs one of the very best terrans going around at the moment, it was really impressive despite what the result says, really great games.

Kespa players need that round of proleague to finish already, coz even if they do not put too much effort in BW, they surely still get distracted there and one cannot fully commit to sc2 with BW hanging over his head

It will be a sad day when that round is over, but now that the OSL is done BW is only hindering the players from competing with everyone, they are still improving at a decent rate and that'll only quicken when they don't have thier attention divided between the two

I think the Kespa teams are already commiting mostly to sc2 and scooting by with preexisting bw knowledge for BW component.

yeah, up/downs are 27th-31st, so prelims likely to be sept 1-2 i guess, or maybe 8-9
the first code s games are on the 10th of september i think

MLG curse is very strong.... MKP managed to keep it at a respectable if inconsistent level after Winter, DRG might actually wish he never won Spring.
