I don't watch the Olympics because I'm not interested in the competition of sports. But I am, for esports! (ex. EVO 2012) I was just wondering, do people watch SC tournaments because they like the aspect of competition, in general. If so, I guess they would also like watching the Olympics.

I'll watch the olympics for the same reason I watched BW, and the same reason I watch SC2.
While I enjoy the act of sports such as swimming, diving, basketball etc. and enjoy playing BW and SC2, it's equally fun to witness people who are just simply better than us doing things we can't do
