The problem is that Terran's are doing worse, and they have 2 of the best matchups, so everything looks worse when the actual individual games are getting better imo. While I respect your opinion how can you say that TvT is better now than it was then? MVP vs Top, Boxer vs Rain (maybe a little passive but it was the prototype game for TvTs to come for a month or two), MVP vs MMA? Marines, Tanks, Vikings, Battlecruisers, Ravens, Hellions drops everywhere (thank goodness that hasn't changed). Now you get the drops but we've lost all the sky terran possibilities until HoTS with the battlecruiser speed boost thing.

Daybreak statistically favors toss lol. http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/sc2-korean/maps/479_Crux_Daybreak Not a bad pvz map at all ^_^.

Now Prime is left with Maru/ByuN who are both very good TvP... -_- I have to assume they had specific builds for their Terran players maybe? I assume it because if no then, well they just aren't very smart... so I'l give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was planned snipes for those maps with Terran players!

Thats just really great players playing each other (and imo MVP vs TOP only game 1 was amazing, Boxer vs Rain was just kinda goofy, and I don't really remember the game quality of MVP vs MMA) I think the matchup itself has just kinda improved, we see amazing TvTs all through the GSL, bottom of Code A all the way to the top of Code S, which to me shows a general improvement.

Possibly 5-2 EG was predictable, but IdrA and DeMuslim getting wins... not so much.
