But Symbol's play after being so far ahead is inexcusable. Nestea made Ro8... True, but lately the way he wins games it's by an inch. But when he loses games it's complete domination. Doesn't really get me to put a vote of confidence into NesTea unfortunately. I agree in some aspects. To me he never looks like a threat to win tournaments anymore, he's also had some absolutely terrible games over the last 6 months or so that are quite memorable. But still he is good enough to continually make Code S, so yeh.
Nestea vs HuK on Taldarim Altar never forget.

Like Soulkey said in his interview, GSL players should be ashamed of themselves for losing to Kespa players this quickly. They only officially switched to SC2 2 months ago...

It's almost infuriating seeing symbol play like this.

You realize that some of them have been playing for much more than a few months, right?

symbol i think he is not very stong. I think he is liked San who is very good in that patch.

creep is the only thing decent of Symbol. wtf dude?

Symbol looked super solid just a few weeks ago. Maybe his string of losses has gotten to him and crippled his mindset.

No creep spread, floating so many minerals, missing injects? bad engagements? One of the things I'm feeling about the GSL in general is that there's a lot less overall consistency by the players. Any one of them can catch fire in any given season and go to the top, but there also seems to be that possibility to go down in flames early in a bracket. (Fire metaphors for both rising and falling! Yay!) MVP, Nestea, MC, and all the other usual suspects have all had situations where they've slumped hard before coming back to prominence. That's not to take anything away from the KeSPA players, who have performed admirably today. It just seems that they rise until they hit the GSL player who's "on" and then get beat in a contested series. This excuse can be aswell applied to any Kespa players who have lost. Sorry but i dont buy this, GSL players should smash and if they are not smashing it means something, it means the gap is not that big if they NEED to be on fire.

And Kespa players are much better funded and have been in progaming for longer. Plus they have tons of material to study off of. Not surprise they are catching up. Soulkey just said it to put pressure on the GSL players. Kespa players are in GM so they were already taking games off GSL players on ladder.

Symbol took his Code S loss really hard. Is he having confidence issues or something?

I'm not as familiar with the results of the KeSPA players, but it's almost an article of faith in the GSL that players are never consistently good for more than a month or two at most. The best all have highs and lows, but a consistent high seems to be something that eludes most of them, which is what I meant.
Symbol looked crushed after his recent Code S loss. It seems like it might have gotten into his head; he was nigh invincible a month ago.
